Make your own stunning silver jewelry while learning how to use silver metal art clay (PMC). Students will learn metal clay basics while making a fine silver pendant and earrings they can wear home!
​ This is a great introduction to silver metal clay and making jewelry. Students will learn how to form, texture, fire and finish precious metal clay (PMC) while making earrings (or charms) and a pendant. We will also touch on some basic wire wrapping and blackening silver to finish your projects. Students will walk away with their own ready to wear fine silver creations. Students will receive 14 grams of fine silver for their project included in the price of the course. Students are often able to make more than a pair of earrings and pendant depending on the size they choose.

Separate $65 materials fee. (due to the fluctuating silver costs the metal clay materials cost is separate)
MATERIALS: Will be provided by instructor but include 14 grams of fine silver clay, sterling silver earwires, wire and semi-precious beads. Additional clay can be purchased separately.

Intro to Bronze Metal Clay Jewelry
DATE: Thursday March 5th and March 12th (two sessions)
TIME: 9:00 am to 12:00
LOCATION: Spanish Village Art Center

Make your own stunning affordable bronze jewelry while learning how to use bronze metal art clay (PMC). Students will learn metal clay basics while making a bronze pendant and earrings (or charms for key chains) they can wear home!
This is a great introduction to bronze metal clay and making jewelry. Students will learn how to form, texture, fire and finish precious metal clay (PMC) while making earrings (or charms) and a pendant. We will also touch on some basic wire wrapping and blackening or patina to finish your projects in the second class. Students will walk away with their own ready to wear metal creations. Students will receive 25 grams of bronze clay for their project . Students are often able to make more than a pair of earrings and pendant depending on the size they choose.

Cost: $100 for both sessions
Materials Fee: $15 for bronze, wire and beads

Silver Metal Art Clay Ring Class
Date: Sunday March 22nd
or Sunday, May 31st
Time: 9 am to 12 pm
Location: Spanish Art Village Studio 17

Create a one of a kind sterling silver ring out of 950 sterling silver metal clay. Students will learn how to design, size, form and refine a sterling silver metal art clay ring and set a fireable cubic zirconia stone. Once fired the metal clay sinters and becomes hard metal.

Cost: $80 Class fee
$50 Material fee (due to the fluctuating silver costs the materials fee is separate)
Students receive 12.5 grams of 950 silver metal clay and a cubic zirconia
