Bio

My name is Helen Munroe and am the artist/owner of HB Jewelry and Glass Design.  I absolutely love glass - especially the shimmer of dichroic glass - and color.  I started making beaded jewelry 17 years ago, learned and became certified to teach Precious metal clay around the same time.  I fell in love with glass 15 years ago and have never looked back and now combine the two!  You cannot beat the light and color in glass.  

 

Now I live to learn and play with my medium.  I constantly strive to learn new techniques or create my own.  My art is inspired by my medium as well as by the life around and within me, my roots in the Southwest and where I live now in Southern California.  To live is to make art!  How lucky I am to be able to do it daily!
